Our story
We believe cakes should tell a story - celebrating milestones, memories, and meaningful moments. Every order is handcrafted in small batches, with care given to flavour, balance, and finish.
Collection & orders
Collection: Cakes are collected from our address. Delivery is available for selected orders; cakes are delicate
and transport risk must be considered.
Business hours: Monday-Friday: 09:00-16:00. Orders are not accepted over weekends.
All collections take place on Fridays unless otherwise arranged.
Allergens
Allergen labels are applied to all cakes. Customers must clearly specify any allergies when ordering. Please note that some products (including carrot cake) contain nuts.
Payment
Payment is via EFT. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is payable 2 days before collection. Assistance can be provided to add a Yoco card payment option.
Preparation time
- Standard cakes: 1-2 days.
- Large or detailed cakes: 3-5 days.
- Custom themed cakes: minimum 5-7 days.
- Wedding cakes: enquiry 4-6 weeks in advance.
Important notes
- Orders are confirmed only once payment has been received.
- Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to handcrafted techniques.
- Changes cannot be made once production has started.
- Collection responsibility transfers to the client once the cake leaves the premises.
Extended preparation timelines
- Standard celebration cakes: minimum 3 days (basic buttercream or simple decoration).
- Custom or themed cakes (fondant or detailed designs): minimum 5-7 days.
- Wedding cakes: initial enquiry at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
- Design confirmation and deposit: minimum 3 weeks before the event.
- Final details and balance payment: 7 days before collection.
Wedding cakes - additional notes
- Tastings (if offered) and design consultations must be scheduled in advance.
- Additional preparation time is required for structural support and tiered assembly.
- Sugar flowers or intricate detailing require extra lead time.
- Transport risk planning is required (collection preferred).
